Her story
The only thing certain in life is change.
Born and raised in Kokomo, Indiana. A mother and a wife. And more than a decade ago, life handed her the change no parent should ever know: the loss of her first-born son.
That grief could have been the end of her story. Instead, in the middle of a mental and emotional battle that was stealing her growth and her happiness, she made a decision that became the seed of everything you see here: let me be grateful. And the situation began to transform. Then another one did. Then her whole life did.
She followed that thread around the world. A student of life and of ancient traditional practices, she trained with master priests in Bali, sat in ceremony with shamans in Peru, walked the temples of Egypt, and studied sacred methods in Mexico. Along the way she earned certification after certification, and discovered the gift she'd carried all along: she can see the code in people, the pattern under the pattern, and help them rewrite it.
Today she lives the life she once pictured, and Joy Through Alchemy is the answer to the question people kept asking her: how? A path to your own divine internal compass, with true internal joy as the destination.

AKimie Gregory, also known as Kemisi Ra, is a multi-certified holistic and energy-healing practitioner on a unique journey to help others heal and find balance and joy in their lives. Born and raised in Kokomo, Indiana, she is a mother and wife who began a deep spiritual journey over a decade ago after losing her first-born son. This trauma led AKimie on a self-love and healing journey to overcome a mental and emotional battle preventing her from growth and inner happiness.
A student of life and Ancient Traditional Practices, Kemisi Ra has furthered her holistic health, healing, and spiritual education by traveling to and experiencing places like Bali, Egypt, Peru, and Mexico to study sacred methods and cultural traditions. With a love for exploring, a passion for holistic health, and a learning spirit, she has gained a vast understanding of cultural methods of healing.
Today, Kemisi Ra is a multifaceted holistic health professional who specializes in a plethora of methodologies including hypnotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming, medical intuition, grief support, and shamanic healing. Kemisi Ra has the divine ability to shift consciousness to allow a positive mindset and outlook on the life one deserves, the abundance of energy one has to attain anything they desire, and living a loving, authentic, and purposeful life.
Her goal is to help people understand that sharing their journey of overcoming trauma is dutiful and essential for the evolution of humanity. Kemisi Ra is the founder of Joy Through Alchemy, a healing and coaching service that guides individuals to their own divine internal compass, with the goal of capturing true internal joy.
